The Village at Rockville has an immediate opening for an expericend Marketing Coordinator.  The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for promoting, presenting and supporting the marketing staff in the sales process to prospective residents, family members, and the community.  This position is responsible for various duties as necessary for the proper function of the department.  Primary responsibilities include mailing information and invitations, direct mail coordination, media placement, special event coordination and assisting new depositors through the application process.  Participate at open houses and public relations/marketing events both on and off-site.  Interact with prospective residents and their families in one-to-one and group situations.  Input lead data and maintain the computerized prospect management system (REPS).  Responsible for writing, design and production, and delivery coordination of newsletter.   

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to three years related experience in marketing, or a service-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have the ability to communicate effectively in the English language; read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, present business information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, residents and the general public.  Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.  Must be experienced and proficient in using computers with several software applications including Microsoft office, word, windows, power point, publisher, reps, excel, and able to learn other applications.  Maintain valid driver’s license.  Must possess compassion, understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with prospects, residents and their families and work effectively with staff. Competitve salary and benefits.
