Experience Matters

For 119 years we have specialized in the skilled nursing care of people 65 years and older, working to help them maintain quality of life and their functional abilities. Whether someone has physical or memory challenges, our history is one where people receive care that is compassionate and respectful.

Skilled Nursing Care

Residents at the National Lutheran Home & Village at Rockville receive care 24 hours a day/7 days a week from Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Geriatric Certified Nursing Assistants (GNAs). Our Senior Care team brings a specialized expertise to the care of older adults.

Individualized Resident Plans

Based upon a comprehensive assessment of each resident’s needs, a customized Plan of Care is created. With the input of the resident and family, this plan enables a coordinated effort by our caring interdisciplinary team, including the physician, nursing, social worker, therapists, dietitian and others. Resident meal preferences are also identified.
