Spirit, sharing and caring
The essence of National Lutheran Communities & Services
Do you remember a time gone by, a time of concerts on the Town Green when neighbors were more than neighbors—they were friends? This piece of small-town Americana is alive at The Village at Rockville. National Lutheran Communities & Services (NLCS) invites you to a place where neighbors are active, are there when you need them and care about you. Spiritual life is our anchor; our 150-seat chapel is its heart and people of all faiths are welcome. 55 percent of your neighbors worship in other ways—but they share your values. Together, they gather to play cards, sing in the choir, play in the hand bell choir and take trips to nearby arts and historical landmarks. A sign of the community's vitality is its vigorous volunteer service.
The Village at Rockville also offers a feeling of security. You know the community is financially secure because of the $170 million in assets entrusted to its sponsor, NLCS.
High-technology, high-touch services
For more than 120-years, we've helped people plan for the future, and we apply the same vision to our whole community. We're about to enhance our traditional strengths—skilled nursing and rehabilitation—with new home and community-based services, as well as assisted living. We're reinforcing those capabilities with high technology: the latest in home health monitoring and communications systems. Equally important, we're reaching out to ministry and community partners in the region to share services and activities. The Village at Rockville is becoming a community without walls—touching more lives in more ways.
